The goal here is to grab a background shot of an always-busy conference room (in which there is no room to light properly anyway) and combine it with a shot of the executive, taken later in our less-frantic studio where she can be properly lit. This is an easy concept, but good execution is essential. The perspective and body position must match exactly, and the lighting must be flattering while blending with the available-light shot of the background. The seamless matting of the woman's fine blond hair is made possible by our 16-bit blue screen process and medium-format digital camera.
