This last item, composite photography, has become Ron Finley's specialty as he does it as well as it can be done. combining actors and products with distant scenes, or computer-generated sets or animations. Everyone needs a portrait to present your best face to the world, your customers and your clients. We shoot, edit, and print large-format digital images.

Medium and Large Format digital cameras are expected on the high-quality assignments in product advertising, architecture, and fine-art reproduction, billboards and trade-show displays. But what does “large format digital" mean precisely? One easy answer is that a large-format shot will produce a large print (24” x 30” and up) of stunning resolution even when viewed from inches away. Such images used to be available only on medium and large format film cameras that required costly and time-consuming procedures to make the prints. But now, with digital stitching technology (for our 14 mp Kodak Pro SLRS) and 108mp Better Light scan backs, we can achieve shots of this critical quality 40” x 60” and much larger. We also use the superb Epson Ultrachrome® wide-format printers to print our work on archival media, producing up to eight foot images of amazing clarity (compared to IMAX) creating a truly memorable impression. The large-format digital prints used in advertising photography are found gracing the walls of ad agency reception rooms as well as the board rooms of the advertising client (the bigger, the better) where they create similar boffo impressions. But it doesn’t end there. We have used the big camera for people photography in general, and specifically family portraits, head shots for executives and actors (or anyone with a “Citizen Kane” ego), as well as studio automobile photography, motorcycle photography, dog photography, and fine-art reproduction, large-format giclée printing where they are essential. We Design and Maintain Web Sites
Web design is a natural extension of our photography, design and animation skills, as well as our years in advertising. We specialize in both informational web and E-commerce web sites for entrepreneurs who want to go big right out of the gate, as well as those who want to go a step at a time. For the big E-commerce sites, we've been working extensively with MIVA MERCHANT which is extremely dependable. Miva Merchant is a dynamiic-page shopping cart that can be fully edited to any look and feel using conventional html design incorporating flash animation, data-capture, table structure, etc. For smaller stores, we've been using the some of Paypal's new products that have addressed the antipathy that many people feel toward the "Big Brother" image of Paypal by remaining more-or-less invisible.

For the record, Ron Finley Studio's specialties are: people photography (life-style and portraits), product photography, web design, animation, large-format digital photos (108 megapixels!) for trade shows and bill boards, family portraits, executive headshots, theatrical headshots, dog photography, 3-D illustration, art copy, fine-art reproduction, large-format giclée printing. Our video specialties are blue and green screen compositing in high-definition video production, up to ten bit uncompressed, which composite seamlessly with our CGI animations. We are centrally located in the Conejo Valley, just off the 101 Freeway in Westlake Village, adjacent to Thousand Oaks, Agoura Hills and nearby Calabasas and Simi Valley.
